Admitted Students

International students who apply for undergraduate programs are required to submit the following documents that meet admission requirements stated below.

  • Acceptance

    After the evaluation process, if the applicant is accepted, conditional acceptance letter is sent to the applicant. This letter is not an official acceptance letter and is valid only for a period of time. During this period, deposit amount should be paid.

    Students who are conditionally accepted to Maltepe University are expected to pay deposit (1.000 USD for all undergraduate programs, 2.500 USD for School of Medicine) within the time period specified in the conditional acceptance letter.

    After deposit payment, students will be sent an official acceptance letter from the university. This letter will guarantee the candidate’s place in the specified department for the applied semester. Payment information will also be provided in the Conditional Acceptance Letter.

    Deposit amount will be deducted from the amount of per semester tuition fee at the registration. In case of proven visa rejection or due to proven problems caused by Covid-19 pandemic, deposit amount can be refunded and only 200 USD processing fee will be charged.

    • Passport Passport

      Students are expected to bring their valid passport. A copy of the pages showing identification, passport expiration date and valid visa annotated for study is required.

    • ID card ID card

      A copy of the ID card must be submitted at the registration.

    • Photo Photo

      3 passport-size photographs (4.5cmx6.0cm) are expected to be submitted at the registration.

    • Diploma Diploma

      Students are expected to submit their original diploma.

      If the student is unable to submit the diploma at the registration, he or she has to sign a petition that accepts that the diploma will be submitted within the following three months, and that otherwise the registry will be deleted.

      To submit the Equivalency Certificate of high school diploma, the applicants have to apply to the Ministry of National Education in Turkey or the Turkish Consulates.

      In case the student is unable to submit the certificate at the registration, appointment certificate from Ministry of National Education will be accepted. Necessary information about appointment application will be provided to students.

      To submit the Equivalency Certificate of bachelor’s or graduate diploma, the applicant is required to bring original samples of bachelor’s diploma with notarized/apostilled Turkish translations and recognized by the Counsel of Higher Education (YÖK) (for all programs except from Health Sciences).

    • Transcript Transcript

      Students must submit the original copy of their transcripts signed and sealed.

      To submit the Equivalency Certificate of bachelor’s or graduate transcript, the applicant is required to bring original samples of bachelor’s transcript with notarized/apostilled Turkish translations and recognized by the Counsel of Higher Education (YÖK) (for all programs except from Health Sciences).

    •  Language Test Language Test

      Admitted students are expected to submit the original copy of their language tests based on the instruction language of the applied program.

      At the registration, admitted students are expected to submit the bank receipt that documents the payment of the first year.

    • Other Documents Other Documents

      Transfer students are expected to submit their transcript that lists the courses that they have taken and a certificate that proves their departure from the previous institution.
